The Carthage Players are at it again.  Another great melodrama, pie and icecream event.




July, 2008 -  Celebrate   the  Fourth of July Fireworks a little early.  The Firemen will have Food, Games, and Fireworks at the west end of Main St. in the Redstone Park , the meal starts about 5.PM

  AUGUST 2nd & 3rd, 2008  -  Help Carthage celebrate her  and Straw Bales Days.  One fun filled packed weekend.

 Pararde Theme for this year is  "Exploring"

Parade line up starts at 8:30 AM at the old high school grounds, a tent  will be set up there to help you get the right spot in Line.  Everyone is inviited to participate in the parade.  The theme this year is " Remember When". Everything is welcome.  

After the Parade there will be Big Tractor games, plowing , kids games, Ugliest Pickup Contest and of course Food at the Museum, Pork Loin sandwiches,  State sanctioned Kiddie  pull, and much more check late we are continuing to update.

Music and Karioke, which ever  the crowd wants  hear the most of will be presented by the "Beat Patrol" from 7PM to 11PM.  Dancing and enjoyment  for all who attend.

Of course The Campbell Strawbale Museum, has special exhibits, wine tasting and other special things for you to do.
